DETROIT-Office and industrial spaces in the suburbs have proven to be popular, at least with clients of Cushman & Wakefield. The Detroit area office recently was involved in four suburban transactions.

J & J Acquisitions LLC acquired a 3,000-sf office building located at 11525 Brougham St. in SterlingHeights, MI. The transaction is valued at $294,000. Jeffrey Buckler of Cushman & Wakefield represented the Warren-based buyer, which plans to use the building for its headquarters. The building was sold by Orlando Giovanni.

Soave Homes Inc. acquired a 5-acre land parcel at Beck Rd., across from Willow Run Airport in VanBuren Township, MI from the Katherine J. Foster Living Trust. Soave Homes, a Livonia-based residential and commercial construction company, plans to develop the parcel. Stephen Norton of Cushman & Wakefield represented Katherine J. Foster Living Trust and Jennifer Butterfield of Colliers represented Soave Homes Inc.

Supply Den Inc., a janitorial supply company, has signed a three-year new lease for 9,127 sf of industrial space at 36715 Metro Ct. in Sterling Heights, MI. Jeffrey Buckler and Robert Rizk of Cushman & Wakefield represented Supply Den Inc. during lease negotiations with Metro Court Properties.

Sureway Worldwide of Detroit, an air delivery services company, has signed a three-year new lease for 5,750 sf of industrial space at 9675 Harrison Rd. in Romulus, MI. During lease negotiations, Peter Rogers, Jeffrey Lemanski and Edward Wilberding of Cushman & Wakefield represented the building owner, Sehn Harrison LLC.
