AZUSA, CA-Pioneer French Baking Co. has paid $5.7 million for a single-tenant retail property here in the eastern corner of LA County.

The 18,700-sf freestanding building stands at 111 W. Foothill Blvd., north of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway. It is fully occupied by a Sav-On drug store.

The seller is Topaz-Azusa LLC, a California private partnership. Pioneer French Baking acquired the property for investment purposes only and has no immediate plans to eventually move into it, a company spokesman says.

Brokers Jeff Pion and Jim Donnerstag of CB Richard Ellis represented the baking company in the transaction. Topaz-Azusa was represented by Nicholas Coo and David Lee of Faris Lee Investments.
