SAN FRANCISCO-Jones Lang LaSalle Vice President James Miller has been named to the board of trustees of California Investment Trust Fund Group. The California Funds, founded in 1985, consists of 12 low-cost, no-load mutual funds with $650 million in total assets.

Miller was chosen to serve indefinitely as an independent trustee on the board, which is responsible for overseeing the business operations of the fund group.

“I have enormous respect for the talents of my fellow board members,” Miller says. “Each member of the board brings something unique tothe table. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the group, which provides valuable financial services for thousands of clients, directly and through corporate retirement plans.”

Miller works from San Francisco, representing tenants throughout the Western United States for Jones Lang LaSalle, a major real estate services and investment firm. His clients include Electronic Data Systems, AT&T Wireless, Citibank, Aon Corp. and America Online.

Miller joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1999 after practicing real estate law with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.

The board’s other members are Stephen C. Rogers, president of the California Funds; Phillip W. McClanahan, vice president and treasurer of the California Funds; Harry Holmes, independent trustee, principal of Harry Holmes & Associates; and John B. Sias, independent trustee, former president and CEO of Chronicle Publishing Company.
