GNC Takes Spaces in New City Malls

CHICAGO-Pittsburgh, PA-based General Nutrition Companies, Inc. has signed leases for two more locations in Chicago. The leases are for space in retail centers on the North and West Sides of the city.

Zifkin Realty & Development, LLC executive vice president and Principal Todd J. Cabanban and associate Darren S. Lake represented GNC on a 1,200-sf lease at Washington Square Mall, being developed at the southwest corner of North and Cicero Avenues by Chicago-based The Harlem Irving Companies, Inc., as well as 1,100 sf at the Gateway Center at the southeast corner of Clark and Howard Streets being developed in part by Urban Property Services Co.

Oakbrook Terrace, IL-based Mid-America Real Estate Group.vice president Dan Tausk represented The Harlem Irving Companies.

Also across the street from the Rogers Park neighborhood, American Family Insurance has signed a lease for 421 sf while Dr. Tessa Fischer took 1,349 sf at 1325 W. Howard St. in Evanston. The building owner, Charter One Bank, was represented by HSA Commercial Real Estate.
