Telecom Company Breaks Ground on New Headquarters

TIGARD, OR-Cameron Property Development broke ground on Friday at Cameron Plaza, a 20,000-sf office complex that will be leased by eei Solutions for its corporate headquarters, except for 7,500 sf that will be subleased. Terms of the lease agreement were not disclosed.

Located at 8060 SW Pfaffle Rd., the building, which is expected to be completed by April 2002, will cost between $2 million and $2.5 million. The new location will allow eei to consolidate its equipment from several holding areas throughout the region.

Recently acquired by Prosodie, a French telecom operator, eei provides interactive call center applications and specializes in interactive voice-response tasks and other services including real-time reporting services.

Lead contractor on the project is Panattoni Construction, a 15-year-old company specializing in the design and construction of office, manufacturing, R&D, distribution and master-planned business parks.

When completed, Cameron Plaza will include telecommunication data facilities, a redundant network and a backup system.
