BELFAST- Northbrook Technology NI, a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance, has leased the remaining 70,000 sf in Dunloe Ewart’s 150,000-sf Nine Lanyon Place development. It has agreed a ten-year lease at £15.50 ($22) per sf, a new record rent for the city. This shows an uplift of 7% on the city’s previous record set at the end of 2000.

Nine Lanyon Place was developed speculatively by locally-based Dunloe Ewart. It is highest-specification office building ever developed in Belfast. Last year Japanese computer manufacturer Fujitsu took 80,000 sf on a 20-year lease at a £13.50 ($19.30) per sf.

Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne was letting agent.
