SIMI VALLEY, CA-Bucking a trend that finds many technology companies consolidating, Internet communications firm CNM Network Inc. has signed a $14-million deal to sublease 136,000 sf of office space here in the northern end of LA County.

In signing the seven-year lease, CNM will take over a huge block of space formerly occupied by Nortel Networks. The office complex stands at 4100 Guardian Way.

CNM will use the space as its new headquarters. The company provides a variety of high-tech services, including the design of Internet networks and fiber optic systems.

Dennis Slattery and Robert Stover of Charles Dunn Co. represented CNM in the transaction. Chris Joyner of Fischer represented Nortel.
