LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ-Thomas Romano, managing director at Insignia/ESG & Buschman Partners, based here, has completed several office leasing transactions, all in the Princeton submarket. The various signings total more than 60,000 sf and have an aggregate value in the $7 million range.

In the first transaction, Laborers International has expanded its space and extended its lease term to 16,500 sf at 104 Interchange Plaza in the Exit 8A submarket. The labor union’s transaction is valued at about $2 million. In the same submarket, Romano signed Medical World Communications to 8,200 sf at 8 Centre Dr. Working on behalf of owner Corporate Office Properties, Romano has brought the firm’s 147,000-sf Center Point office complex to 100% occupancy.

“We sold this portfolio to COPT in 1998, and since then we have been able to retain and expand many of the existing tenants and attract new ones,” according to Romano.

Romano also closed three lease deals along the I-95 corridor in Lawrence and Ewing townships. Penn National Insurance extended its lease for 19,800 sf at Crossroads Corporate Center in Lawrenceville (IESG/Buschman has the exclusive for Leggatt McCall on the 100,000-sf class A building). Finally, Architech Systems took 10,800 sf and Waste Management signed for 5,600 sf at Ewing Commerce Park in Ewing Twp.
