MIAMI – The Keyes Company/Realtors, one of the nation’s largest real estate firms with 36 statewide offices, continues on its path of rapid growth with its latest acquisition, Allstate Realty & Investments Inc.

Although the financial details were not disclosed, 50 associates from Allstate have transferred to the Keyes offices of North Miami, Aventura, Miami Lakes and Pembroke Pines. Pat Killen, president and owner of Allstate, has joined the Keyes management team. Allstate handled both commercial and residential real estate and was headquartered in Miami.

Allstate is Keyes’ fourth acquisition this year. Michael Pappas, president of the Keyes Company, attributes much of Keyes’ continuing growth and profitability to these mergers. “We have been able to buck the downward trend,” says Pappas in a statement. “When everyone is talking recession we continue to grow and be profitable.”
