Accuform Signs Taps Edwards for 60,000-SF Plant

ORLANDO-The tilt-wall project in western Brooksville, FL, 80 miles northwest of Downtown Orlando, will have 41,500 sf of air-conditioned warehouse space for production, inventory control, shipping and receiving. Office space will account for the remaining 18,500 sf.

ORLANDO-Accuform Signs, a 25-year-old national player in commercial, industrial and retail signage, is going with Edwards Construction Services Inc. of Ocala, FL to build a new tilt-wall, 60,000-sf, $2.74 million manufacturing plant in western Brooksville, FL, 80 miles northwest of Downtown Orlando.

Edwards’ design consultants are team architect Horton, Harley & Carter of Tampa, FL; and civil engineers Coastal Engineering Associates of Brooksville.

“The project is currently in for permitting with an expected groundbreaking in late January and a scheduled completion in June 2002,” Edwards Vice President Ron Smith tells GlobeSt.com.

Accuform acquired California-based Marzetta Signs in the mid-1990s. Marzetta continues to operate under its own name and also under the combined Accuform and Marzetta Signs banner.
