GEORGETOWN, TX-Austin-based United Heritage Credit Union has bought 1.7 acres in a Georgetown, TX shopping center for a new branch. The property fronts Interstate 35 in the San Gabriel Village shopping center.

The credit union bought the property from Twin Gabriel’s Inc., the developer of the center. Twin Gabriel’s principals are Bill Smalling and Don Martin, who are the developers of La Frontera in Round Rock. United Heritage has seven offices including one on University Avenue in Georgetown and one in Tyler, TX.

Matt Hooks of Dallas-based Weitzman Group’s Austin team has represented the seller and Mike Grisham of Grisham & Associates has represented United Heritage. San Gabriel Village is a 50-acre mixed-use development. Tenants include Luby’s, Applebee’s, Holiday Inn Express Suites and the Water’s Edge Apartments.
