LITTLETON, CO-Chicago-based First Industrial has signed leases with two companies at its HighPointe Business Center, leasing up one of the buildings in the speculative project. National Cable Television Institute will be occupying 16,553 sf–about 40% of the building–at 8022 Southpark Circle.

NCTI is the world’s largest independent provider of broadband communications training.

Cutler-Hammer leased the final 12,208 sf. Cutler-Hammer, a subsidiary of Eaton Corp., is a full-line manufacturer of electrical distribution and control products.

“We’re excited that HighPointe is over half leased, just five months after shell completion,” says Graham Riley, senior regional development officer for First Industrial. “We believe this shows the strength of southwest submarket.”

.Construction is nearly complete in the suite for Toshiba Business Solutions, which was the first company to lease space at HighPointe in late February.

HighPointe Business Center is located just northeast of the intersection of Santa Fe and County Line roads. Completed in December 2001, HighPointe features loading options, 16-foot ceiling clearance and scenic views of the front range and downtown Denver. HighPointe still has 37,000 sf available for lease.
