Construction Wraps Up at 66,429-SF Elwood Airport Center

PHOENIX-With the crews gone, the leasing team can go full speed ahead on the development near Sky Harbor International Airport. Hewson Development has turned over the duties to an Insignia/ESG team.

PHOENIX-Work is done on the 66,429-sf Elwood Airport Center, a project of Phoenix-based Hewson Development Corp. Now, the leasing team is taking over.

The Insignia/ESG team of Ken McQueen, James Harper and Andy Ogan in the Phoenix office is handling the project’s leasing. The flex industrial building is located at the northwest corner of 44th and Elwood streets, close to Sky Harbor International Airport.

The Elwood Airport Center design is tailored for 5,000-plus sf users of industrial and office space. Among the features are high-end glass fronts, truckwells and rear grade-level doors, 20-foot clear ceiling heights and a 3:1 per 1,000 sf parking ratio.

Hewson is one of the largest developer/managers of industrial properties in the Valley. It has delivered about 15 million sf of commercial real estate in Arizona, California, Mississippi, Tennessee and Utah.
