Hilton Opens 143-Room Hotel

SPRNGFIELD, MA-Hilton Hotels Corp. opened a 143-room Hilton Garden Inn at 800 West Columbus Ave. Columbus Hotel Management owns and manages the newly constructed hotel under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Inns Inc., the franchise subsidiary of Beverly Hills, CA-based Hilton Hotels.

The six-story hotel is situated at the intersection of West Columbus Avenue and Broad Street near Bradley International Airport. This is the first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the state and will feature a breakfast cafe, two meeting rooms with 2,300 sf of flexible meeting space, a business center, a game room, a fitness center, a swimming pool and an on-site guest laundry facility. The hotel will be geared towards business travelers and will include a number of business-oriented features in the rooms such as accommodations for a laptop, data ports and two telephone lines.
