12-Acre Tract in NW Houston Changes Hands

HOUSTON-It's the third land sale in about four months for Caldwell Watson in its main market of Northwest Houston. The New Hope Community Church takes title to a site along West Greens Road for a second church.

HOUSTON-The New Hope Community Church of Houston has acquired 12.23 acres in the city’s northwest sector.

Kyle Fox of Houston-based Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group represented the seller, Fred Caldwell, trustee. Jay Houston of Remax Advantage represented the buyer of the acreage along West Greens Road near its junction with Antoine Road.

A Caldwell Watson contact tells GlobeSt.com that New Hope Community Church intends to break ground soon on a second church. Its other Houston location is at 9639 Cleveland Bay Court.

The land sale is the third this year for the trust. The largest tract, 50 acres, went in May to Conservative Investments Inc., which is planning to develop a commercial and retail project on the Northwest Houston acreage along FM 2920. In March, 12 acres were sold to Steeplechase Park 3 near FM 1960, also in Caldwell Watson’s main market of the northwest submarket. Sugar Creek Apartments led by William Henson, was the buyer.
