South Carolina Couple Spends $1.7M for Fazoli's Restaurant

SAN ANTONIO-A Fazoli’s Restaurant in North San Antonio has changed hands. Marian and Loren Chamberlain of Johns Island, SC bought the 3,490-sf, free-standing restaurant from Novasource Development LLC, based in Salt Lake City, for $1.68 million.

Novasource was represented by Jessica Zahn of the Marcus & Millichap office in Phoenix. Sue Morris of Marcus & Millichap’s Washington, DC office handled talks for the buyer.

The restaurant is one of two Fazoli’s in San Antonio, with this one being practically new construction and nestled in a hotbed of retail activity along US Highway 281. Much of that new activity is coming from hometown developer Sam Patel, who’s hard at work on a 64-room Quality Inn & Suites on a neighboring tract. Fazoli’s other San Antonio location is 11739 Bandera Rd., where it intersects with Loop 1604 in northwest San Antonio. Fazoli’s, based in Lexington, KY, has 32 restaurants in Texas and a total of 400 in 32 states.
