CHICAGO-Communications provider Nuvox has signed a long-term lease extension for its 47,000 sf at 16090 Swingley Ridge in St. Louis, MO. Although lease terms were not disclosed, Nuvox is saving $1 million compared to its previous lease and also is getting tenant improvements.

Current market conditions was an effective lever in negotiations, brokers at Julien J. Studley, Inc. indicate. Corporate managing director Geoff Adaire and executive vice president John Goodman represented Nuvox in the lease extension. Kathy Higgins represented the building’s owner, Sachs Properties.

Julien J. Studley has been managing Nuvox’ 200,000-sf portfolio since last year. The company is the byproduct of a merger between Gabriel Communications and Trivergent Communications.
