Cafi de Thai Inks 10-Year Lease

POWAY, CA-Café de Thai LLC has inked a ten-year lease for retail space at Creekside Plaza in Poway.

The Café de Thai restaurant, which specializes in sushi and Thai cuisine, will take 3,280 sf at 13425 Poway Rd. According to the terms of the $946,291 lease, the restaurant will occupy suites 801-803 in the complex. It is planning to move to its new location in January 2003.

The lessee was represented by Phil Lyons of BRE Commercial/NAI. John Jennings and Pete Bethea of Burnham Real Estate Services ONCOR International acted on behalf of the lessor, Braemar Properties LP.

Jean Marie Josselin LLC dba 808 Restaurant also signed a 10-year lease recently for retail space in San Diego County. The tenant, which specializes in Hawaiian regional cuisine, inked an agreement at the end of August for 3,450 sf at 8980 University Center in Aventine Restaurant Row. It will move into its new facility in November 2002, according to the terms of the $1.2-million lease.
