MIAMI-Ram Development Co. of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, has finished developing a Walgreen’s and First Union National Bank combination project in Miramar.

The company developed the 14,382-sf Walgreen’s adjacent to an existing 3,200-sf First Union, renovated the bank branch and connected the two with an internal walkway–a $5 million project.

The facility is located at the southwest corner of Miramar Parkway and 68th Avenue.

Ram purchased the current Walgreen’s property from First Union in December 2000 for an undisclosed price. Robert Skinner, vice president, and Ivy Greaner, managing partner, both of Ram Development Co., led the project’s development.

In a prepared statement, First Union vice president Jon Shaughnessy says the bank and Ram are working on at least one other similar project.
