DALLAS-PRG Realty Partners and JPI implement some personnel changes in the latest round of shifts in the corporate ranks.

PRG Realty, a relatively new Dallas-based firm backed by seasoned professionals, added Roger Burke, a former managing director for the capital advisory group at Insignia/ESG. Burke and Matt Nine, who joined the team after his exit from Equis Corp.’s Dallas office, were named principals. Burke has worked at least five years with PRG co-founder Mark Robertson, who left the Insignia ranks to form the firm with Drew Peterson.

Burke has what PRG intends to use as its focus: Latin America and US connections. Burke was part of the team for establishing Insignia’s Capital Advisors Group in the Southwest as well as offices in Mexico and Argentina. At PRG, he will focus on acquisitions and dispositions and aid in transactions for PRG’s Mexican partners.

Burke’s transactions record includes the $60-million sale of the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City; adviser for sale/leaseback of a corporate headquarters for TMM in Mexico City; consultant for a US developer in Northern Mexico; and co-brokered the Mack-Cali Dallas portfolio sale with Robertson.

Nine is tasked with coordinating large-scale projects for PRG clients. He joined PRG shortly after it was formed earlier in the summer. In addition to Equis, Nine worked for CB Richard Ellis Inc. and the real estate division of Southern Pacific Railroad.

JPI hired a vice president and area managing partner for its Canadian region. Kathy Kinnear steps over to JPI’s Toronto office, bringing 30 years of experience in the housing development industry. She previously worked in senior management and executive positions for Intracorp Developments Ltd., Cresford Developments and Centara Development Corp. She also worked as manager of land development for the Toronto Housing Department.

Kinnear’s role will be to assess development sites in Canada, manage the acquisition process and supervise all development aspects to go from the drawing board to completion.
