One Miami Selects Interior Design Firm

MIAMI-The Related Group has hired a design firm and opened a sales center for One Miami, the 896-unit downtown residential project under development here. Internationally renowned, 22-year-old design firm Yabu Pushelberg was selected to design the building’s interior.

Toronto-based Yabu Pushelberg is planning a unique metropolitan look and feel for One Miami, creating a warm, serene setting in the building’s common areas. Partners George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg recently won James Beard awards for excellence in restaurant design, among other honors.

The new sales center for One Miami is located on-site at 205 S. Biscayne Blvd. The building will be located on the former site of the Royal Palm Hotel gardens. The development will go up where the Miami River meets Biscayne Bay. One Miami, which will reportedly cost hundreds of millions of dollars, is being developed by Jorge Perez and his firm, The Related Group of Florida. The architectural firm is Arquitectonica.
