PHOENIX-The doctor is in at the Baseline Foothills industrial project.

The Glass Doctor, a glass replacement firm, has taken a six-year lease on 7,041 sf at the 4401 E. Baseline Rd. building, giving the company a higher profile and a newer building. “The owner wanted to improve the image,” Kris Martin with Grubb & Ellis Co.’s industrial division tells GlobeSt.com. “He wanted newer and nicer and he found it in this building.”

Formerly located on Southern Road, the auto, commercial and residential glass replacement firm got street frontage for the office-and-warehouse operation in the 40,000-sf, single-story building, which was built last year, said Martin, who represented the tenant in the deal. The firm, which will pay owner Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust $350,000 net over the term of the lease, will share the building with Sears. John Pompay with CB Richard Ellis, represented the building owner in the transaction.
