Suburban Industrial Brokers Keep Busy

DETROIT-Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust has sold a 48,200-sf light industrial facility on Stephenson Highway in Troy, as well as leasing 14.774 sf in Romulus. Meanwhile, Harding Leasing and Equipment Co. building in Springfield Township lands a new 14,000-sf tenant.

First Industrial’s lease is with Altaquip, which will provide small engine repair at 9770 Harrison Rd. Brad Viergever, Mark Hamway and Jack Townsend of Signature Associates represented the tenant, while Signature’s Paul Hoge represented the buyer of the property in Troy. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Meanwhile, L. Rogers Associates has leased property owned by Harding Leasing and Equipment Co. in Springfield Township. Grubb & Ellis Co. senior vice president Geoff Hill and vice president John Arthurs represented the owner.
