EL DORADO HILLS, CA-Syers Properties, a San Mateo based company that invests in shopping centers, has purchased the Marketplace at Town Center in El Dorado Hills.

The shopping center was sold to Syers by developer Regency Centers for approximately $28 million. The Marketplace’s anchor tenants include Ralphs grocery store and Longs Drugs. The 112,600-sf center, which is located at the intersection of Highway 50 and Latrobe Road, opened this fall and is fully leased to about 20 tenants.

Craig Woolmington-Smith of Woolmington-Smith Ventures, the company that manages Syers’ properties, represented the buyer in this deal. Regency represented itself.
