California Group Enters Denver-Area Self-Storage Market

WESTMINSTER, CO-Buchanan Storage Capital of Newport Beach, CA, has provided $1.5 million in joint venture equity through the Buchanan Funds for the $5.2 million purchase of the Lake Arbor Self-Storage facility in Westminster.The project is near the intersection of Sheridan and Boulevard and U.S. 37. It is visible from West 88th Avenue, the main commercial corridor serving the area.

The 82,000-sf property contains 444 storage units, and includes storage for 77 RV and boat storage units. There also are five canopied areas that provide storage for an additional 189 RVs or boats. The 11-building complex was built in two phases in 1993 and 2000.

“Buchanan Street Partners is actively looking to invest in the Denver market this year as we expand our investment reach outside the West Coast,” Randall R. Hall, director of marketing for the company, tells GlobeSt.com.
