DETROIT-Various brokers marked successful deals during April.

Signature Associates-ONCOR International of Southfield, MI negotiated the saleof the 19,500-sf building located at 969 Chicago Road in Troy, MI. JohnBoyd of the company brokered the deal on behalf of a Private Partnership.

Friedman Real Estate Group Inc. negotiated the lease of 7,532 sf ofoffice space at the CATS Building, located at 2100 W. Big Beaver Road inTroy. Friedman’s Matt Farrell and Roxanne Larson represented the landlord inthis lease transaction. The tenant, Vacation Consultants Inc. is a newcompany that will install its headquarters at the CATS Building.

Also in April, Grubb and Ellis of Southfield recorded 20 industrial salesand leases, seven office sales and leases and one retail lease.The industrial included a 109,928-sf lease for Transfreight LLC inBrownstown Business Center and a 34,000-sf purchase for U-Wash DevelopmentCo. in Farmington Hills, MI.

Grubb and Ellis also sold 10.36 acres of vacant land in Macomb Township, MI onApril 30.
