Transwestern Bags Big Hitter

ATLANTA-Houston-based Transwestern Commercial Services has recruited a seasoned metro Atlanta leasing professional in Candy McIntyre as its new vice president of leasing services in the company’s four-broker local office.

McIntyre has 20 years of commercial real estate experience. At PM Realty Group, she leased over two million sf of office, industrial and retail properties in the Atlanta portfolio of TMW Real Estate Investors, now Prudential Real Estate Investors. In 2001, TMW formed an alliance with PM Realty Group as a third-party manager and spun off its leasing and management arm.

At TMW, McIntyre was responsible for leasing major area properties such as Two Ravinia, the Peachtree Building, One Live Oak, 211 Perimeter Center, Perimeter Square West Shopping Center and Northbridge Business Park.

McIntyre started in commercial real estate in 1984 as a mall manager with The Rouse Co. at South DeKalb Mall, Outlet Square and Perimeter Mall. She is a member of the Commercial Board of Realtors where she received the Million Dollar Club recognition for $30 million in 2001 transactions. NAIOP gave her a Million Dollar Club award in 2002. She is also a CREW membership committee member.
