Coors Sells 89,250-SF Distribution Building

ANAHEIM, CA- Rosemont, IL-based Reyes Holdings LLC’s Harbor Distribution division purchased an 89,250-sf industrial complex at 1625 S. Lewis St. from Coors Brewing Co., according to Grubb & Ellis Co.

The purchase price was not disclosed, but the ask was $8.5 million. Troy Williams, Jeff Read and Greg Osborne of Grubb & Ellis’ Anaheim office represented the seller, with the buyer represented by a CB Richard Ellis Inc. team that included Steve Batcheller in Anaheim, Rick McGeagh of CBRE’s Torrance office, and Whitley Collins in Los Angeles.

The three-building complex sits 8.7 acres and will continue to serve as a distribution center for Harbor, also a beer distributor. Williams tells GlobeSt.com that the property was built in 1988 as a build-to-suit for Coors, which had owned it ever since and operated it for some time as a distribution facility until leasing it to Harbor. The two-story facility includes about 26,000 sf office space, with the warehouse portion including more than 59,000 sf of refrigerated space. The property includes a three-acre concrete paved yard.
