MIAMI-Unisys Item Processing Services LLC has signed a lease for 30,000 sf of warehouse/office space in a free-standing building in the Airport West submarket here. The company inked a deal for a term of seven years. It is estimated to be valued at at least $2.52 million, based on the building rental range of between $12 and $15 per sf.

The property, owned by the Adler Group, is located at 8000 NW 25th St. The 45,510-sf building where Unisys is leasing space is approximately 65% occupied. The building consists of high-end class B suburban industrial and office space.

Unisys Item Processing Services provides information technology services and solutions. The company, which specializes in consulting, server technology and systems integration, plans to use the space for check processing. The deal represents a new location for the company.

The lease was handled by the Adler Group’s FlexxSpace Management arm.
