Wholesaler Buys 71,091-SF Building

ONTARIO, CA-R&B Wholesale, a distributor of household appliances, has purchased a 71,091-sf industrial building in Milliken Commerce Center for $4.1 million, according to Grubb & Ellis Co.

R&B has already occupied the single-story facility at 2350 Milliken Ave., which is housing the corporate headquarters as well as the distribution operation. MKJ Milliken Commerce Center of Whittier was the seller.

Ron Washle and Milo Lipson, both in the Grubb & Ellis Ontario office, represented the seller. Ken Andersen from the Ontario office of Irvine-based Collins Commercial bargained the terms for the buyer.

Milliken Commerce Center is a two-building industrial project. Still available for lease or sale is a 99,534-sf structure at 4200 Mission Ave., which is being marketed by Washle and Lipson.

R&B distributes home appliances, furniture, electronics and commercial equipment for all of Arizona, California and most of Nevada. In addition to the Ontario location, it has facilities in Union City, CA, and Phoenix.
