Sperry Van Ness Expands in Area

BOSTON-Sperry Van Ness, the CA-based commercial real estate investment firm, has expanded its presence in the New England commercial real estate market by awarding affiliation to Robert P. Miller. Miller is the seventh independent broker to take on the Sperry Van Ness affiliation and the ninth in the New England region.

David Ebeling, a spokesperson for the company, tells GlobeSt.com that Sperry Van Ness is looking to further expand in the region. He notes that the firm was only in two states, California and Arizona, until two years ago when it expanded to 35 states. “We expect to be in 50 states within the next three to five years,” he says.

Miller has over 30 years experience in the commercial real estate industry and specializes in the sale and leasing of office and industrial properties. Prior to joining Sperry Van ness, he was in the real estate investment department of The Prudential Insurance Co. of America, where he was in charge of real estate development in the northeast region.
