BOULDER, CO-Sterling-Rice Group will lease 26,000 sf in One Boulder Plaza at 1810 13th St. in the heart of downtown. Sterling Rice-Group, a brand innovation and advertising firm that has more than 60 employees and serves a variety of local and national clients, will occupy the entire fourth floor of the new building.

“One Boulder Plaza is an inspiring space with 360-degree views of the community, which is highly conducive to the creative processes we offer clients such as Horizon Organic Dairy, McData, Frontier Airlines, Quaker Oats, Pepsi and Aspen Skiing Company,” says Rick Sterling, president of Sterling-Rice Group. “One Boulder Plaza is the best place for us as we approach our 20th year in business.”

“Sterling-Rice Group is one of downtown Boulder’s strongest and most involved businesses, so having them as an anchor tenant is very substantial,” says Bill Reynolds, president of W.W. Reynolds Cos., one of the owners of the building.

“Perhaps it would have been easier to move elsewhere, but we believe the vitality of Boulder is dependent on the success of downtown,” says Sterling. “Downtown Boulder became our home nearly 20 years ago and the new office will be our home for another decade or more.” added Sterling.

In addition to the space being leased by Sterling-Rice Group, the new building includes 70,000-sf of commercial space on the first, second and third floors of the building and a two-level underground parking garage, a rarity in downtown Boulder. The total One Boulder Plaza project includes approximately 100,000-sf of retail/restaurant/business service space, 210,000-sf of office space and 90,000-sf of housing.
