New Firm Takes Over Office Building

FORT WORTH-A new company is setting up shop now with a full-building office lease of 10,346 sf on the eastern edge of downtown Fort Worth.

The seven-year lease kicks in Aug. 1, but the tenant, Atlas Imaging & Diagnostic Center LLC, got the keys early, Blake Lloyd of NAI Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell in Fort Worth tells GlobeSt.com. The building at 2700 Airport Freeway has been empty for about eight months.

Lloyd says the start-up operation had made 2700 Airport Freeway “its No. 1 choice” because of the rarity in finding a location with Interstate 30 frontage and single-tenant size. The medical firm is setting up a mobile imaging center at the rear of the 43,400-sf tract.

Built in 1977, the building had been on the market for lease or for sale after two other medical tenants exited. The NAI Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell team representing the building owner, CDC Partnership of Fort Worth, consisted of Kyle Poulson and Jack Huff, both principals, and Will Martin and Lloyd, both associates. Tim Terrell and Jeff Schweitzer, both with Dallas-based Stream Realty Partners, negotiated on the tenant’s behalf.
