DENVER-Local developer Randy Nichols has started constructing 25 condominiums on his Sears parking lot redevelopment in Cherry Creek North. Prices range from $339,000 to $1.6 million. Units, which are scheduled to be completed in early 2005, will range from 845 sf to 2,970 sf.

“Clayton Lane will be to Cherry Creek North what Larimer Square is to Lodo,” says Nichols, who is turning the Sears parking lot into a mixed-use development including retail, offices and the city’s first J.W. Marriott hotel. Janus, the large mutual fund family, is the anchor tenant in the office component. A Wholes Food store already is open.

“Our location offers access to Cherry Creek like no other residential development,” Nichols says. “Everything a homeowner needs will be right at their doorstep. Whole Foods will be their pantry. There will be coffee shops, diverse shopping, top-notch restaurants and relaxing courtyards all within steps of their home.
