Trammell Crow Hires Former Insignia Exec

CONSHOCKEN, PA-Karen Daly-Smith, former executive managing director of the Philadelphia office of Insignia/ESG, is named SVP of Trammell Crow Co.’s Philadelphia regional office, which is based here. The announcement comes on the heels of completion of CB Richard Ellis’s acquisition of I/ESG.

Daly-Smith is an 18-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. In her new post, she is responsible for global services and will focus on growth and management of TC’s Philadelphia brokerage operations, property management and corporate services.

In making the announcement, Jeffrey T. Goggins, TC’s area director, reiterates that his company is “extremely committed to investing and expanding in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.” Daly-Smith has been involved in the completion of significant office lease, sale and finance transactions. Among her past clients are Lend Lease, PM Realty Advisors, First Union (now Wachovia), Invesco, JP Morgan, Leggat McCall Properties and others.
