LA HABRA, CA-Owner-users here and in Santa Ana have acquired their own buildings for $1.6 million and $1.2 million respectively, including one buyer who has occupied the space for five years.

In the La Habra transaction, Pursuit Technology Inc. has paid $1.6 million for a 21,320-sf industrial building on 1.42 acres at 540 E. Jamie St. that will serve as its corporate headquarters, according to Grubb & Ellis. Troy Williams and Mark Gleason of the Grubb & Ellis Anaheim office, who represented the buyer, say that Pursuit is due to occupy the building by the end of the year. Pursuit, which specializes in police car customizations and repairs, will be relocating from 10,000 sf of leased space in Buena Park. The property was sold by the R. Dean Thomas Family Trust of La Habra, with Zach Niles and Ben Seybold of CB Richard Ellis representing the seller.

In the Santa Ana transaction, Birtcher Anderson Properties has sold a building in Brookhollow Office Park, according to Louis Tomaselli of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Anaheim Metro office.

Tomaselli and Rob Socci of Voit’s Anaheim Metro office, who represented Birtcher, say the buyer was Gary A. Linneman, a doctor who has occupied the space for five years. The property is a 7,256-sf, concrete tilt-up office building at 1534 Brookhollow Drive, which sold for approximately $1.2 million. The buyer was represented by Dave McKenney of Voit’s Irvine office.
