CHICAGO-A 35,000-sf building at 555 W. Jackson Blvd. has been sold to Special Assets LLC. Although a sales price was not disclosed, it had been on the market at $2.9 million–less than $83 per sf.

The seven-story building next to Union Station has enjoyed strong occupancy. HSA Commercial Real Estate EVP Wayne Shulman represented Chicago-based WLR Investments. Property records indicate it acquired the property in 2000 as a result of a foreclosure sale.

In the Central Loop, architecture, interior design and planning firm Nagle, Hartray, Danker, Kagan, McKay leased 8,360 sf at 30 W. Monroe St. Ted Holman of NAI Hiffman represented St. Paul Properties, owner of the building.
