Zyng Noodlery Signs Three-Restaurant Franchise Deal

MINNEAPOLIS-Zyng Noodlery, a fast-growing pan-Asian restaurant chain, recently signed a franchise development agreement with Randy Portner to open three Zyng Noodlery restaurants in the western suburbs of Minneapolis / St. Paul. The company earlier had signed a deal with HMS to build Zyng Noodlery restaurants in airports throughout the country, including the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

“I am looking forward to the growth potential that is available in the pan-Asian segment. Zyng provides a unique taste and healthy menu, which makes it a strong competitor in the restaurant industry,” says Portner, who is also a franchisee for two Quiznos in the Twin Cities area.

The Zyng Noodlery restaurants are about 3,000 sf with a capacity to seat from 80 to 100 customers. It blends the cuisines from China, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore into one pan-Asian format centered around an exhibition kitchen where customers can see their meal being prepared on a flat, teppanyaki grill.

Headquartered in Alexandria, VA, Zyng currently has over 120 units in development, including the airport deals with HMS.
