BEVERLY HILLS, CA-A West Los Angeles-based investor doing business as Can O’Corn LLC has acquired two office buildings at 9441 W. Olympic Blvd. and 405 S. Beverly Drive from the Southern California Physicians Insurance Exchange (SCPIE) for $14 million, according to Beitler Commercial Realty Services.

Walter Herman of the West Los Angeles headquarters office of Beitler, who brokered the deal, says the two buildings, which total about 54,000 sf, formerly served as headquarters facilities for the SCPIE. Herman says the group moved out of the buildings and consolidated the operations from the two properties into Century City about three years ago. The two properties are at opposite corners of the intersection of Olympic and Beverly. One of the buildings was constructed in 1949 and the other in 1973, and both were 100% leased at the time of the sale. The 405 S. Beverly building is a five-story structure, while the Olympic Boulevard office property is three stories.
