Industrial Deals Fill 144,244 SF

LA MIRADA, CA-A toy distributor and a public warehousing firm have signed leases for a combined total of 144,244 sf of industrial space in two separate deals here and in Santa Fe Springs, according to Grubb & Ellis.

Steve Sprenger of the Anaheim office of Grubb & Ellis says that City of Commerce-based toy distributor Levin & Schneider has already occupied its portion of a building at 14731-14741 Industry Circle. The space, which is an expansion for the firm, will be used for warehousing and distribution. The building is owned by Berns & Sanderson, LLC of Irvine. Sprenger and Shawn Kelter, also of Grubb & Ellis’ Anaheim office, represented the landlord; Joel McCabe of the McCabe Co. represented the tenant.

In the Santa Fe Springs lease, the Canadian Sales Agency Inc., a public warehousing and distribution firm, has subleased its space from Schneider Resources Inc. of Green Bay, WI. Canadian Sales Agency has already occupied its space in the building, which is at 13950 Mica St. and is a new location for the firm. Sprenger and Lance Parker of Grubb & Ellis’ Anaheim office and Mark Gibbs of Burr & Temkin represented the sublandlord, with Carol Taubman of Westgate Properties representing the warehousing firm.
