SAN DIEGO-Although completion of Cisterra Partners’ DiamondView Tower office project is still more than two years away, the San Diego-based developer is getting a jump on marketing efforts, having recently hired CB Richard Ellis to assist with both marketing and leasing responsibilities at the $80-million development.

“CB Richard Ellis is delighted to be a part of the most exciting project to be built in San Diego in many years,” says Kraig Kristofferson, a senior vice president with the firm. “It is expected to draw tenants back downtown looking to experience firsthand the tremendous energy, excitement and interaction of the downtown renaissance and reversing a trend of no downtown office development in the past 12 years.”

In addition to Kristofferson, the CBRE team working on DiamondView Tower consists of Nelson Ackerly, Joel Mayne and John Gross. The Cisterra employees overseeing the project are managing partner Todd Anson, managing member Steve Black and director of development Jason Wood.

Scheduled for completion in early 2006, DiamondView Tower is slated to encompass 300,000 sf including 35,000 sf of ground-floor retail. Designed by Carrier Johnson Architects, the project will stand 14 stories high and will include 300 parking spaces under the building, as well as a 1,000-space parking structure across the street.
