MADISON HEIGHTS, MI-Grubb & Ellis Company has arranged the lease of 57,250 sf of industrial build-to-suit space in Madison Heights to Valenite Inc., a subsidiary of Sanvik Corporation. Valenite is a machine cutting tool manufacturer.

Kemp & Sherman Co. of Madison Heights owns the property. The consolidation of three existing buildings in Metro Detroit into one new, larger facility will accommodate the tenant’s space requirements. Move-in is expected in January 2004.

Grubb & Ellis team members of the firm’s industrial group, Geoff Hill, SVP, and Chuck Ginster, VP, represented the owner in the transaction.
