KENNETT SQUARE, PA-Yorklyn, DE-based Charles Taylor & Sons inks an eight-year space contract for 12,000 sf at 503 Schoolhouse Rd. here. It is a sublease from SEOS Inc., and has an aggregate rental value in excess of $700,000.

The space combines a clear, 18-ft-high ceiling and tailgate loading facilities with corporate office space. Taylor is a specialist in designing and installing hardwood floors and has multiple locations in this state and in Delaware. This location gives the company access to the entire West Chester, Kennett Square market area via Route 202.

Steve Italiano, SVP in the Wayne, PA office of CB Richard Ellis, was sole agent representing the sublessor in finalizing the agreement.

Meanwhile, Italiano is also exclusive agent for the sale or lease of a 41,200-sf industrial property on seven acres in nearby Upper Chichester, PA. The asking sale price is just under $2.7 million, or about $64.32 per sf.

The building is located at 142A Conchester Hwy., Route 322, and is less than a minute from I-95 and the Commodore Perry Bridge to New Jersey. Italiano says it is expandable and suitable for retail or sports-related use as well as industrial operations.
