BOSTON-Edwards Day, an Atlanta-based real estate advisor, has put 2 Liberty Square on the market. The 68,000-sf, 11-story building is fully leased to Putnam Investments.

The firm has retained Spaulding & Slye Colliers to broker the deal. Michael Smith, a principal Spaulding & Slye and the building’s sales broker, tells GlobeSt.com that there is currently no asking price for the property.

He notes that Edwards Day decided the time was right to sell this type of asset. “They could see buildings with good credit tenants selling well,” he explains, adding that there is a shortage of these types of buildings in the city.

Edwards Day acquired the property in December, 2000 for $12 million. The firm owns 313 and 330 Congress St., but Smith says it has no plans for those properties.
