HOUSTON-The Houston-based law firm of Olson & Olson will exit a 20-year location for 15,719 sf in Wortham Tower at 2727 Allen Parkway, just west of the CBD. The attorneys, signing a long-term lease for class B space, will be moving soon from Three Allen Center at 333 Clay St.

Steve Hesse, executive vice president, and Clare Flesher, senior associate, in the Houston office of CBRE/Trione & Gordon represented the law firm in the negotiations. Flesher tells GlobeSt.com that the attorneys were looking for something different plus felt compelled from an economic standpoint to seek out other options in the downtown submarket. The firm is vacating about 11,000 sf.

Vic Baltov in the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented the building owner, AIG. Baltov says the 416,685-sf tower, with a $20 per sf quoted rate, is now 95% occupied.
