TEMPE, AZ-Krank Amplification has turned up the volume on its business with the lease of 1,260 sf at the Alameda Business Center in Tempe.

The maker of amplifiers and speakers for the music industry will move from 2051 E. Cedar St. in Tempe into the industrial space in a deal with building owner, D. Wong & Associates of Tempe, Eddy Moore with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial, tells GlobeSt.com. The space, which typically rents for about 57 cents per sf gross, will give the firm a key location near the Valley’s freeway system along with added space for its amplifier manufacturing operation, Moore says.

The 74,000-sf business park at 1222 W. Alameda Dr. has 50 bays for industrial users and is home to several small businesses, including a T-shirt maker and a wood manufacturer. Moore negotiated the lease on behalf of both parties.
