BREA, CA-Electronics distributor ArmorLink Corp. has purchased a 28,285-sf industrial building here for $2.5 million for its corporate headquarters. And, in another Brea transaction, a family trust has sold a building as part of a move to Orange, according to Grubb & Ellis and NAI Capital Commercial.ArmorLink has already occupied the freestanding, concrete tilt-up building, which is at 515 Puente St. The facility will be used for warehousing and distribution, as well as to house the company’s headquarters. The firm relocated from 26,650 sf of leased space in La Mirada. Mark Gleason and Steve Sprenger of Grubb & Ellis’ Anaheim office represented the buyer, with Ben Seybold and Ian Britton of CB Richard Ellis representing the seller, CDC Brea Industrial LLC of Costa Mesa.In the other Brea transaction, David Knowlton and Paul Fisher of NAI Capital Commercial report that the Goebel Trust sold a 19,800-sf industrial building at 1530 Moonstone to the Simpson Manufacturing Co. and relocated to Orange in a sale and a lease valued at a total of $2 million. The buyer of the Moonstone property owns other buildings on the street and purchased the single-story building for warehousing and storage. The buyer was represented by Tom Dorman of CB Richard Ellis. The former occupant of the Moonstone building, Lee Goebel Enterprises, relocated to an 8,640-sf multi-tenant industrial building at 1816 N. Case St. in Orange. The facility has drive-around access and is located near several major thoroughfares. The landlord, Grove Properties was represented by Mike Hefner of Voit Commercial Brokerage.
