FAIRFAX, VA-Qwest Communications has decided to stay put in its digs at Willowwood Plaza by renewing its lease on 25,600 sf of the 250,000-sf office property. Not only has the company decided to stick around at Willowwood for seven more years, it has also opted to expand its space there by an additional 3,800 sf, bringing its total occupancy up to nearly 30,000 sf.

Sandwiched between Lee Hwy, and I-66 at 10300 and 10306 Eaton Pl., Willowwood Plaza consists of two seemingly identical, five-story structures that were developed in 1988. In addition to its on-site amenities, the property boasts a convenient location with easy access to Washington, DC and its surrounding suburbs.

Commercial real estate services firm Grubb & Ellis assisted Qwest in the lease negotiation, while Trammell Crow represented property owner KBS Realty Advisors. Financial terms of the transaction are not being publicized; however, Trammell Crow markets the class A office space at the two-building complex for $24 to $24.50 per sf.
