ANAHEIM, CA-The Foursquare Gospel Church has signed a 10-year, $11 million lease for a 130,595-sf building owned by Catellus Development Corp. that formerly housed MTI Technology Corp., according to Voit Commercial Brokerage. Mitch Zehner of the Anaheim Metro office of Voit reports that the deal is one of the largest industrial leases signed in Orange County this year. Zehner and his Voit partner Louis Tomaselli represented Catellus, a REIT, with the church represented by Jeff Chiate, Rick Ellison and Peter Sowa of Cushman & Wakefield. The deal includes an option for Foursquare to buy the property. The church will move into the space from its current location in East Anaheim into the new facility at 4905 E. La Palma Ave. The organization plans to make tenant improvements to the facility that will include remodeling the warehouse space into a sanctuary and using the existing offices for church management. The building was developed in 1987 as a built-to-suit for MTI, a global provider of data storage, storage management and data protection solutions. It is located in the 200-acre master-planned Catellus Corporate Center.
