UPLAND, CA-The Lewis Group of Cos., a master planner and shopping center developer with a host of projects in the Inland Empire, has named an Anaheim-based team of CB Richard Ellis brokers to lease its upcoming Murrieta Triangle and Sierra Lakes projects.The team for the 338,884-sf Sierra Lakes Marketplace, which is under way at the Northwest Quadrant of Hwy 210 and Sierra Avenue in North Fontana, will be Jeff Moore and John T. Mehigan of CBRE’s Focused Retail Services Group. For the 400,000-sf Murrieta Triangle, a development on Murrieta Hot Springs Road at the intersection of the 15 and 215 freeways in Murrieta, the team will consist of Moore and Mehigan as well as Reg Kobzi from the CB Richard Ellis San Diego Central Office.Sierra Lakes Marketplace is a community center anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement, which opened earlier this year, and Washington Mutual, which is currently under construction. The center is part of the 2,100-unit master planned community of Sierra Lakes, which includes an 18-hole championship golf course, a clubhouse and a restaurant. The CBRE team will be looking for anchor, pad and shop space tenants.The Murrieta Triangle project is a development of Domenigoni/Barton Properties and Lewis Retail Centers. The 65-Acre mixed-use project in South Riverside County is expected to open in the first quarter of 2006 with a mix of big box retailers, furniture stores and lifestyle tenants. The project site is near a number of existing residential communities, including fast-growing Murrieta, and is close to a number of new housing developments under way in unincorporated communities of Riverside County.
